Plastic-free sushi packaging

Tiny Fish is a Zurich-based start-up with the mission of offering sushi as a balanced, wholesome takeaway snack at fair prices. The young company was founded by 5 sushi-loving friends. They have set themselves the goal of creating natural sushi with lots of flavour – affordable and, above all, delicious. The first two shops were opened in Zurich in August 2020.

For the packaging line for its fresh takeaway products, Tiny Fish relies on our expertise in paper-based packaging solutions for food. Thanks to the ingenious construction and the use of tried-and-tested materials, SCHELLING AG has succeeded in producing a new type of sushi packaging entirely without plastic. The special construction reduces air circulation and moisture exchange and allows optimum storage of the fresh sushi without drying out for the desired length of time. Our packaging solution can also be used directly as tableware and also works with the use of sauces. Thanks to trendy artwork, the packaging is also visually eye-catching and perfectly conveys the start-up’s brand message.
