SCHELLING EXTENDS ITS DIGITAL SOLUTION OFFERING!
SCHELLING is taking another big step towards its digital strategy 2020. Following the strategic initiative “Sustainable Digital”, SCHELLING is continuously developing and investing into digital solutions in- and outside of the supply chain. The goal is to offer a unique, flexible and sustainable experience to customers and stakeholders.
With the investment into the digital press Landa S10 Nanographic Printing® Press, SCHELLING follows its strategy and sets a memorable milestone to extend its digital solution offering. The Landa S10 completes the 100% digital assembly line and offers now flexible and individual solutions through printing, die-cutting and gluing, which open totally new possibilities to customers.
As a family business and with the quality stamp – e³ – it is SCHELLING’s continuous strive to develop and implement solutions which benefit the economy, ecology und efficiency. The Landa S10 follows this footpath and adds not only to the economy and efficiency (lower set-up time and dry-ink print), but also to the ecology (low ink usage and waterbased-ink).
SCHELLING is very proud to set such a milestone and is looking forward to a future full of new possibilities.

PRIZE-WINNING PACKAGING - TORINO LA PIAZZA WINS SWISS PACKAGING AWARD
The Swiss Packaging Award is Switzerland’s platform for creativity and innovation in the packaging industry.
Outstanding achievements and packaging solutions are honoured by the Swiss Packaging Institute.
Winners of the Swiss Packaging Award are eligible to enter for the WorldStar Packaging Awards, the international competition for the best packaging products in the world.
The Torino – LA PIAZZA packaging, produced by SCHELLING AG, won the coveted Swiss Packaging Award in “Category F: Construction”. The cylindrical packaging is 100% Swiss-made and a masterpiece of efficiency and environmental sustainability. The flat-pack delivery of the various packaging components reduced logistics and storage costs by 90%. The circular automatic packaging machine joins the lid and side panels in the blink of an eye and every material used is fully recyclable. The icing on the cake is the lid with the pull tab and cut/reverse-cut system, which makes it easy to open the packaging and close it again.
The packaging is delivered flat, keeping material costs to an absolute minimum. It is put together by a machine just before it is filled, cutting logistics and storage costs significantly. The design stands out, being 100% recyclable and fitting into a tiny space when it is folded up. All design criteria, from using less material and cutting costs through to streamlining are completely fulfilled – this is packaging design of the highest standard!
